The Crawford County R2 School District is seeking an assistant middle school girl basketball coach for the 2024-25 school year.  The coach will work under the supervision of the athletic director in accordance with CCR2 and MSHSAA Board Policies. The coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. They must demonstrate adequate knowledge of the skills and strategies of the sport of basketball.  The coach will be required to attend all games and practices during normal, after school practice hours, Tuesday-Saturday and during the set practice window on Mondays. The stipend will start at step 1 of the Extra Duty Stipend Schedule and increase by one step each additional year as a Cuba coach. 

 

The step 1 stipend will be $1,905 based on the current salary schedule without the annually funded Teacher Minimum Salary Grant.

 

*The step 1 stipend will be $2,090 based on the current salary schedule with the annually funded Teacher Minimum Salary Grant. 

 

*The stipend will increase if there is an increase to the base of the approved 2024-25 certified salary schedule. 

 

Requirements: 

  1. Substitute Certificate 
  2. Completion of all required NFHS, MSHSAA and CCR2 required trainings.
